2015: Ottawa Engagements + Weddings (The Best of!)

2015, what a year, what a year. A look back at our highlights: Lots of experiences and growth, pretty pictures and awesome memories!

My word of the year was "Focus"
I was to focus on career goals (however specific and occasionally ridiculous they may be) and on the things that create happiness.
While I didn't hit some of my goals there is still a lot of strive left for 2016.

At a glance:

Photographed at a couple venues we've never been to, one of them being Signatures (Restaurant by Le Cordon Bleu) where I took my most popular photo of the year at dusk. Also the food and company were just ridiculously wonderful.

Second shot with the amazing Genevieve of 15:51 Photography at a beautiful out of town wedding in March, but not before a magazine cover shoot, naturally!

Photographed my first surprise proposal: I think I was more nervous than the future groom.

Second shot at my first same-sex wedding with PhotoVanBeek.
What an incredible day of love and support at Bean Town Ranch.

Returned to a few venues we can't live without!

Captured real emotions

Aside from weddings, 2015 was the year I broke my record for number of families photographed and headshot sessions.

And had a blast! And attended our first Photography conference, Canada Photo Convention which not only inspired but it provided a lot of networking and one hell of a late night dance party. #justsaying

Thanks to all the couples and families who made this year a success, from the bottom of my heart.
